I'm the skinny one on the wall. I look about 8 so I assume its about 1952. My brother Jimmy's in th wheelchair. Mrs Harper looks on.

hi david i remember jimmy and your ann my wife joan and i went to school with ann the camp school then lobley hill, i still live in lobley hill rothbury gds now ,but lived at the top of lobley hill bank when i was a kid, and my wife joan lived on consett rd, nice to see the old photo, ps we still have the old photos from school aeged 5 and 11

Just back from hols so just saw your comment.
It's nice to hear from people from back then. I guess many that we don't hear about may not even be with us any more.
Anne is doing alright. She lives in South Shields and I', sure she will remember you both. She has an Elephants memory.
Unfortunately Jimmy died a good few years back. Lung cancer in he forties and never ever smoked. But he was a regular at the club and you could cut the smoke in there with a knife.
I live in Washington with my wife of 44 years and never hear about anyone from Lobley Hill so it's nice to get some insight into what and where.

the the girls names i think are Dorothy Brown, Pauline Jewarden? Norma Maddison and Elaine Jewarden? with Mrs (Nellie) Harperat the back.
