the post office to the right is at the north end of the coach road, it was run by Mrs Ermill who lived near the bottom of pinewood gdns. We lived in the cottage on the right and used to get our postal orders there, wish I could go back to those days

This is at the bottom of Lobley Hill Road going towards the Team Valley from Lobley Hill. The round-about covers this area now The car on the right hand side is where the waggon team pub is

My family (Taplin) ran the Post Office which is over the wall from where the girls are standing.

It's correct address was Norwood Cottage, Coach Road. On the same side of the road going uphill was the continuation of Lobley Hill Road.

On the opposite side of the road was the newspaper/general dealers shop and behind that was Oakfield Gardens.

Does anyone have any memories of the Post Office or the Taplin family, please?
