These are the two Railway Houses, located at the start of Whickham Highway, just past the Catholic Church. They have been extended and may now be one house! Just to the right of them beyond where the fence is, is the railway line that ran from Dunston Staithes to Watergate Pit and beyond. We lived in Woodburn and backed onto these railway lines.
