hello there,this was my grandfathers 1st home as such haha.
his name was also alf boldon(alfie,alfred)along with myself and father,may have had a nickname that people used as his name full time?married to mary?

Saturday nights, going there & getting in cause we were selling The Pink lol
I can remember Agnes. My grandad (Albert Neal) was the doorman there for a long time. My mother used to send me down there for Tudor crisps and a bottle of pop. There used to be fountains and red pebble landscaping when the club was new.
Best part of my youth was spent here. Pauline and I used to go down for a drink midweek and meet in the 'Snug' with Uncle Bobby (Dyson) and his friends. Agnes Wilson (Robin's mum) was the best barmaid ever!
