i think am still barred from there & i remember ray Shirley,jack Reavley & smiler very well.
I was there the first night it opened. Recently bumped into Ray Shirley (and his wife Dorothy); we had a good chat about the Community Centre and also about when he was a teacher.

I was there on the day that it opened. I used to court my Pauline (Lynch of Redwood Gardens) in there and I remember Ray Shirley and the teachers from Hillhead and St. John Fisher schools who used to watch over us. The high stools on the 'coffee bar' were definately 60/70's stuff!
