Hello in Lobley Hill!
I knew Mickey Miley, of 4 Alwinton gardens all of my life. I haven't seen him in years, but I would send him a Christmas card. I had not heard from him in a long time. My sister Eleanor was over there on a visit, and she knocked on the door, at 4 Alwinton gardens. There is someone who is now living there. They didn't know Mickey, or his family. Does anyone know him, or his whereabouts? I would appreciate any help. Hope that he's ok. We have been friends since the 1950's.
I knew John Jobey and Peter Jobey. I believe that John Jobey is a builder in Lobley Hill, and did pretty well for himself. He did have a house on the Coach Road...down at the bottom of little Pinewood and near the Blind Man's shop (Les Thompson). John Jobey is older than me (I'm 56). I was more Peter's age. I used to live at 22 Alwinton gardens. I've lived in the USA for 37 years now. The last time I was in the UK, was in 1999 when my father died.

Hi Al --- Thanks for the words! "I'm not sure if we new one another back then, I will see if I can narrow it down' I went to Hill-head until 1964, worked on the Team Valley for about year and half - before coming to Canada. I was back in 1980 and 87 but not since. I think my Mother wanted to get me out Gateshead back when I was 16 in case I got locked up. How are lad's I mentioned in my earlier post, And what ever became of Rose Jordan.
